QUALITY CONTROL
Quality control requires a plan that clarifies methods and procedures for controlling the product deliverables. This would include processes for supervision and review at various levels in the plan. These processes may be documented as (Standard Operating Procedures) SOPs.
The project team for KEL MADETHS NIGERIA LIMITED is designed to meet monthly, whilst departments may review activities weekly. Minutes of any meetings must be circulated within the week.
The end product will need to be released by Quality Control and this will require suitable procedures in place for testing performance, physical specifications together with any tolerances and release procedures for raw materials e.g. the use of Reliable suppliers.
Validation procedures for the end product test methods will be required.
This will also cover the standards for deliverables e.g. the specification measurement procedures or any need to conform to particular good regulatory practices.
The method of setting project checkpoints or milestones is documented together with who is involved and how they interact. e.g. project team membership, additional personnel within the company, senior management involvement, external consultants etc.
Consider the format of the project schedule. How often it is updated? Procedures for revision and accessibility should be noted.
Also, we make all concerned aware of where information will be archived.
Auditing is part of the overall Quality Plan and as such it is wise to have a representative in the project team
Kel Madeths Nigeria Limited was incorporated in 2003 to satisfy customer requirements for the construction of Cell Sites for the blossoming Telecommunication Network in Nigeria. This business has developed well and is expanding successfully.
Additional capabilities have been added to the organization to include technical assistance and support, installation, maintenance of products and systems, and design of systems.
The company is now engaged in engineering design, Logistics & Procurement, installation, Fabrications, commissioning and maintenance of equipment and systems.
POLICY & OBJECTIVES KEL MADETHS NIGERIA LIMITED quality policy is to achieve sustained profitable growth by providing services which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of her customers or client.
This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the Company to existing clients, potential customers, and independent auditing authorities.
Achievement of this policy involves all staff/employee, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continually improving working environment for all. This policy is provided and explained to each employee by the Managing Director or Quality Manager.
To achieve and maintain the required level of assurance the Managing Director retains responsibility for the Quality System with routine operation controlled by the Quality Manager.
